FAQ

FAQ - MyFP | Radio Fox - Listen to Online Radios

Here are answers to the most common questions about MyFP.

What is MyFP?

MyFP is a free online directory that helps you discover and listen to thousands of internet radio stations from around the world. We organize stations by genres (like Pop, Classical, Reggae, Electro, Blues), countries (USA, Germany, Mexico, Canada, etc.), and languages (Turkish, Icelandic, Welsh, etc.). We provide direct links and embedded players to third-party streams — we don't host the audio ourselves.

Is MyFP free to use?

Yes, completely free! No subscriptions, no sign-up required for browsing or listening. Enjoy unlimited access to our directory and featured stations.

Why can't I hear a station?

Common reasons include:

  • Your internet connection (try Wi-Fi or mobile data switch).
  • The radio station is temporarily offline or has bandwidth limits.
  • The station restricts listeners by region or has reached its listener cap.
  • Browser/ad-blocker interference — try disabling extensions or a different browser.

If issues persist, the stream might be down on the station's end — check back later or try another station.

How do I search for a specific radio station?

Use the search bar at the top of the homepage. Type the station name (e.g., "BBC Radio 4 Extra" or "CALM RADIO"), or browse by genre, country, or language. You can also explore our featured stations list for popular picks.

How can I add my radio station to MyFP?

Go to the Submit Radio page and fill out the form with your station details (name, stream URL, genre, country, description, etc.). We review submissions and add approved ones to the directory — it's free! Make sure your stream is public and stable.

Can I suggest a station that's missing?

Yes! Use the Submit Radio form or contact us with the station name and stream URL if available. We'll check and add it if it fits our directory.

Do you have an app or mobile version?

Our website is fully mobile-responsive and works great on phones/tablets. No dedicated app yet, but you can add the site to your home screen for quick access (like an app!).

Why do some stations stop playing in the background?

On mobile browsers, audio may pause when switching apps due to browser restrictions. Try using our site in desktop mode or consider a third-party radio player app that supports custom URLs.

Is listening safe and private?

Yes — we don't collect personal data for basic use. We link to third-party streams, so check the station's own privacy policy. Read our full Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for details.

What if a station is playing copyrighted music illegally?

We are DMCA-compliant and act on valid copyright notices. If you believe a listed stream infringes rights, submit a DMCA notice — we'll review and remove infringing links promptly.

How often do you update the directory?

We add new stations regularly via submissions and curate featured ones. Stations can go offline — report dead links via contact so we can remove or fix them.
